Free daily maths practice, Year 7 to A-level
MathsDaily gives you twenty fresh maths questions every day, mapped to the UK curriculum: Key Stage 3 (Year 7, 8 and 9), GCSE in Foundation and Higher tier, and A-level covering pure maths, mechanics and statistics. New numbers are generated each morning, so no two days are the same.
One perfect twenty a day
Answer all twenty, see your score, then retry any misses until every one is correct: that day is added to your total. Around half the questions ask for proper written methods on pen and paper, each comes with a plain-English tip, and a short video helps if you get stuck.
Common questions
Is MathsDaily really free?
Yes. No sign-up, no account, no ads. Your progress, streak and calendar are saved on your own device and never leave it.
What happens if I get questions wrong?
Nothing is lost. Wrong answers go into a retry queue with tips and video help, and you try again until all twenty are correct. Miss a whole day and nothing is lost: that day just doesn't add to your total.
Why do some questions ask for pen and paper?
Around half of each day's twenty are marked "Paper" because they need proper written methods: long division, column multiplication, multi-step algebra and sketched diagrams. Exams award marks for written working, and the skill only builds by doing it on paper, so keep a pen and notebook beside you.
Which year groups does it cover?
Year 7, 8 and 9 (KS3), GCSE for Year 10 and 11 with a Foundation or Higher toggle, and A-level for sixth form and college: ten pure, five mechanics and five statistics questions daily. Also a comfortable fit for US Grade 6–8 and CBSE Class 6–8 students.
Do I have to finish all 20 in one sitting?
No. Your progress saves automatically, so you can leave and come back any time the same day. The set just needs to be complete, with every answer correct, by midnight for the day to count.
